Is touch sacred to you?
As the son of two non-verbal ASL signers. I've come to innerstand a truth of human connection. What is most sacred to us is what we have in common. The unifying forces of our lived experience attribute the deepest grooves of creation in who we are as a people.The "I am because we are" the congregating of folks in ceremony and celebration. The join of hands at dinner tables. Hugs after long extended travels. Transmits the essence of the sacred. Though more than ever today human beings are living isolated lives absent of touch's healing nature. The tension of daily pressures coiling and constricting as it coils; moreover, arresting the body, until we experience a visceral limitation in how we move about earth. This alone is enough to ail a person as we know stress is the number one cause of death in America.Sacred Touch is an intentional connection weaving of ancient bodywork wisdom for the sake of healing. while you may not hear the value in my words, or see the vibrance of life in my image, you will know the healing touch brings to all who accept its sacred application.

The "I am because we are" is an engendering presence in/en fluencing the definitive, expressive and mingling of being: souls and spirits alike. touch begins when one is aware of another. Be it a thought or your eyes meeting someone else's eyes. Awareness is stimulated. No matter its nature a connection is made knowingly or unknowingly you're experiencing touch.
